Just as the title says, we're curious about people's minute usage.

In the comments, please share how many minutes you are alotted each month.

Feel free to discuss how & why you use so many or so few & whether you ever go over your alotted minutes.

If you're using Tapatalk, please use Web View to access the poll. (3 dot menu, then Web View.)

The poll needs to be increased to cover out to the maximum for minute-based plans. In my case, the maximum minutes allowed on the highest plan is 2,000. Yes, I've gone over with 3 phones in the house, two adults, one child that uses maybe 10 minutes per month, so each of the adults is using upwards of or over 1,000 minutes.

I have Friends and Family on my Nationwide Minutes plan with Unlimited Data on the two adult phones. With Friends and Family I get to include upto 10 phone numbers that are not mobile (mobile to mobile is free 24/7), and keep the most frequent called numbers free as well.

As our usage has gone up, I've reverted to using Google Voice and a Google number to make and receive calls. Google Voice uses two different phone numbers, one for outgoing calls and another for incoming, to make the connections, and the party on the other end sees only your Google number. So I added the outgoing and incoming numbers to my Friends and Family and that helped keep the calls used down dramatically, however people who call us on the main numbers that we've had for 21+ years, mine ending in 8000 and hers in 8100, will still use minutes. Until people call us on the Google Voice numbers, we will still continue to rack up minutes used.

THIS is why I want WIFI calling. She and I are on WIFI the entire time we're home, and I'm on WIFI the entire time I'm at work, so the only times we would need to use actual Cellular phone call minutes is when we are out on the road or not near a WIFI hot spot.

You had me covered on 0-25. If you'd have done 0-10 it would have been even closer to my usage.

I'm actually almost to 40 already this month & my billing cycle started on the 4th.

I put in a new VoIP phone system at work that has software on my PC bound to my phone. If I lock my PC during working hours, it'll try me on my cell, then revert to my office voice mail if I don't answer.

I'm guessing that's the reason for the spike this month, because I was previously using about an average of 30 or so a month. Its anybody's guess at this point, but I doubt I'll hit 100.

Edit: Oh yeah. I have unlimited talk & text.
I am on unlimited talk and text. I alone use easily over 1500 minutes a month usually more... Text is even way more than that. I am on my phone A LOT for work. Ordering parts, tech support, playing tech support for other technicians. VERY little of it is actually personal use.
Thanks for the poll Jonny! (I didn't realize we could list that many choices in a poll) :)
I look forward to the results.
Neither did I. I was surprised it let me go that far when fk mentioned it should go higher.

I wonder how it did that? I only liked it once. (sorry! Ha) but yeah, I did have to log in via my browser to see the poll, but then came back to TT to comment.

Around 1500. I work from home and I'm on the phone for a lot of conference calls.

900 minute plan with 5 friends and family. The conf numbers are under those.
I use a few hundred a month. I have unlimited talk & text. My month starts on the 27th, and I am currently at 183. Before I became management last year I was probably under 30 minutes/month. Because I have to speak with my carrier reps frequently, my usage went up.
