OK, this really IS for the girls!

Oh, I've got cleaning cloths EVERYWHERE! I am lamenting the NEED to have to do it multiple times a day.

I work with horses, young horses, and my BT headset gets knocked off too often to use in the barn. I do angle it away from my face when I can, but am usually doing something else while talking, so have the phone perched between face and shoulder.

This was meant to be a fun thread, not a true cry for help. Just something we girls have to deal with that you boys do not...

But thanks for all the reassurances that makeup is NOT necessary!!!:icon_ banana:

Try to angle the phone slightly away from your face just a bit, there will be no change in sound. I know it is tempting to rest it on your cheek but just angle it slightly so its not rubbing right on it.

That is the correct answer and the only really helpful one so far... BUT it still a fun thread AND women do need to know that makeup is not always necessary!

Serious reply. Zeiss eyeglass lens cleaning cloths. 3 bucks for 50. Will clean your phone up quickly and easily. At Wal-Mart in the Optical Dept.

Oh, that's a good suggestion! I'll have to get some of these next time I'm head to Wal-Mart. I've been using Kleenex that leaves all kinds of lint. Then I spray the phone down with compressed air to get rid of the lint LOL. I hate it when my phone is dirty!

Were you wearing makeup when you tested this?

To the OP, I feel your pain! I don't wear makeup but moisturizer has the same ill effect! I stocked up on the lens cleaning cloths when I got my first BB and having the solution doesn't make you feel better about needing the solution.

Nothing's worse than going to show off your new Droid-baby and it's covered in cheek-cheese!

This is a bit off topic, but I'm an avid boater. It's well known that women were bad luck on boats (according to old sea dogs) but a naked woman would calm an angry sea, so I tell all the ladies when they board they must be naked. So any ladies want to go boating?? :icon_ devil:

I don't wear much makeup usually but even with just foundation on I end up cleaning off my screen after a phone call almost every time. That's why I always keep a couple microfiber cloths in my purse. But I agree with the other person who said moisturizer can be just as much of an issue since I looove using moisturizing hand lotions throughout the day. So if anything I get more gunk on the screen doing finger-swipes and so on while browsing the web or playing around with apps.

On a side note, I fully expected as soon as I saw the thread title that some of you guys would find some way to work in a "go naked" comment even if it had nothing to do with the subject, and you didn't disappoint. lol

Bluetooth headset for walking around. Speaker in car. Keeps hands free too. Just in case you need to do one of the thousands of things we do all the time, like re-apply lipstick.

I can't stand when a girl has a film of makeup on her. Look like you can peal it off in one big sheet. lol.. Nasty! The crazy thing is most girls don't believe when you tell them they look better without makeup. Or that most men prefer little to no make up..
