The new laptops no longer have the illuminated logo. I also remember this being offered everytime a new iPhone is released.. It's nothing new and voids the warranty.

Though Apple would not allow it, it would be cool if they put in LEDs that change colors so it can have it light up a different color by app, contact, etc. Of course that would have to be controlled by an app.
