Our report from last week referring to a Best Buy sales ad outing the price for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 is now officially confirmed to be accurate by Samsung themselves. The new tab from Samsung will be $469.99 for the 16GB version, and $569.99 for the 32GB version. While Best Buy has the device up for pre-order already, Samsung only indicated a vague "coming soon" for availability.
To be clear, we are referring to the WiFi only version of the tab right now. There is no word on pricing or availability of any 4G LTE version of the tab. We will keep you apprised as more details emerge.
