yea..get launcher pro...stock doesnt do that..only 270 degree rotation is only in app. not home launcher

Has anyone found a lock pattern toggle widget that works with 2.2? I have two, Switch Pro Widget, which I just purchased primarily because of this toggle, and Curvefish's Lock Pattern Widget and neither one work with 2.2, although curvefish's has been updated to perform as a shortcut to security settings. Is there no more one touch toggle for 2.2?

ok....what happened to the no vol/no vibrate option?

when you turned the volume down via volume buttons on the side, it went volume, vibrate, neither....

now the last option is vibrate.

i assume theres a way to turn off the vibrate in the settings, but thats a pain in the ass. i like the way it was, why the hell did they change it?

im on my 2nd day using 2.2 ....im far from impressed. they changed many little things like this for reasons unknown. :icon_evil:

Update on my phone's situation with these issues:
The battery drain issue: Some think it's related to the Facebook app? I don't use the Facebook app at all. But someone on another thread pointed out that his battery issue was resolved after uninstalling his task killer app. Apparently task killer and Froyo were fighting each other by opening and closing apps. So I uninstalled and it seems to be a lot better. For now, I'd say this is resolved.

The aac/aac+ streaming issue: Today DroidLive pushed an update and it included a fix for this streaming issue. So now yourmuze runs on DroidLive again. The stream still doesn't work with any other player and is finicky so I've got my fingers crossed that it doesn't stop again or with the new FRG22 rollout.

The Handcent issue with the LED I noticed after reading this thread and the light didn't come on after a text, but then after I got another text the light did come on. Sooooo...I don't know what to think about this one yet.
EDIT: See...just as I hit "submit" on this post I got another text and the LED isn't lighting up. I don't know what the issue is. Maybe it's Handcents issue?

Still having an issue with the re-draw of the home screen when closing apps. Especially when coming out of the car dock app.

Otherwise, pretty happy. Especially since the battery and aac problems have so far been resolved to my satisfaction.

After updating, phone wouldn't leave the vzw activation screen. The four corner touch trick no longer works.

I went back to 2.1 and all hell breaks loose: unable to download from market. The "starting download..." message will just hang.

that is mainly used for exchange users...they can set up an administrator which can remote wipe/lock the device.

Anyone missing the Corporate Calendar app? Icon on the standard Launcher is gone and LauncherPro says the app isn't installed anymore; I had to readd the shortcut for the Calendar app in LauncherPro, but not the stock Launcher. Also, the stock Launcher app drawer only has a screen's worth of apps from A-B; LauncherPro seems fine.

Perhaps I need to wait for everything to complete their startup processes or do a cold boot of the phone.

corp calender and google calender are merged in 2.2.

select calenders -> menu -> more -> calenders; this will show you both calenders in one. it also show us holidays turned on.

I am having issues with dolphin HD browers freezing my phone and eventually force closing. any suggestions?

I seem to be having an issue with swiping left or right to get to another screen. If I wake my phone up and try to swipe in either direction, 90% of the time it won't work on the first try. Same thing if I just get out of using an app for a bit, first try at a swipe won't work. I'm using the exact same pressure, speed, everything. Not sure if this was happening before the 2.2 update or not, but I certainly notice it now.

I believe when dolphin last updated there was a mention that there would soon be another upgrade with major changes. Hopefully this will solve some of the problems.
