One of the reasons I tend to stick to devices with unlockable bootloaders is the fact that they tend to pick up developer support and fast. CyanogenMod has just added official support for the Moto E 2015 and the Huawei Ascend Mate 2. That is more than can be said for the Galaxy S6 or the HTC One M9. The M9 has unofficial builds, and the S6 may never see Cyanogen Mod builds.
To install CM on either the Moto E 2015 or the Huawei Ascend Mate 2 you need to be bootloader unlocked and have a custom recovery installed. Head to the link below to grab the flashable zip. Also be sure to grab the latest version of Gapps to install alongside your nightly. If you forget to flash Gapps you won't have access to the play store or Google services.
