OEM battery for Driod from Amazon

Amazon is selling "OEM" batteries for the droid. They are about $5. The batteries have gotten mixed reviews.
Anyone have the real scoop on these batteries?

On items like this the 'Seller' changes frequently. Make sure to check the current seller (which at the time of this writing was OEM Shop that has a 95% rating). If you look at most of th negative reviews for these they are from another seller (when the review bothers to post it). Worse case it's only $5, get one or two and if they are bad through them out.

As to the idiots complaining about them being Chinese 'knockoffs' the OEM batteries (or at least a good % of them) are made in China like most rechargeable Li based batteries.... with any mass produced product like this you have failure rates. I know the battery was only $15 on Moto's website a few weeks ago when I looked (tried looking now but no 'price' showing on the product page). The battery is used by a number of popular devices now so there's bound to be a TON of surplus out there (econ 101, the higher the supply the lower the price).
