I've been using Jeanie (previously Voice-Actions) for months now. It does that same thing.

Siri-like? From the makers of Dragon Dictation software, that awesome dictation button on my Swype keyboard that sucks bad compared to my ICS voice-to-text dictation?

I won't hate on it, even if its average at best, it is useful for me. I drive tractors around a lot and it does make searching for things easier. In know way is it really a good app, but if they could add something to make it unique maybe then maybe they would have a nice product.

Nuance is not behind Siri.
Apple bought another company that worked on natural language for the DARPA.
Completely different. The person that wrote the story should get it right.
The only portion of SIRI that "might" be Nuance is possibly the speech recognition and not the engine that interprets the question.
