Notifications and phone calls

My droid ally doesn't always ring when I get a call. It also doesn't update notifications for texts and email constantly. If I turn the whole unit off then back on, it usually fixes the problem, but if you don't know you got a call/text/email, makes it tough to fix. I received three calls last night without the phone ringing. I turned it off and on today, and at the same time all the notifications started ringing, three texts and 1 voicemail. The call also doesn't come up on the call log if the phone doesn't ring.:icon_evil:

Mine does this too! Took out the battery and I have no water damage indicator either so verizon told me where I could go. I'm pretty much screwed stuck with it for another year and a half. I can't send or receive picture messages no matter how often I turn the phone off and I've never been able to send videos.
