notification on text since JB

Has anyone had problems with receiving notification sound after JB update ? I have Gs3 and recently notice that not getting full notification when receiving a text.....have it set for vibrate and ringtone but only receive partial notification. Works ok for awhile but if texting with someone don't receive notification after about the 2nd text. Any suggestions.....?

Don't have an S3 but I had seen similar issues on the HD. A factory reset usually resolves it. Sometimes when there is a big update like that a factory reset is a good idea anyway. Just a thought.

I also have a GS3 and am experiencing similar issues as the OP. I can hear the notification but it gets cut off and I am using the stock whistle sound. The problem first started after the jellybean update but I still haven't found a fix. I did a factory reset initially after the update to fix some other issues. I have not done a reset recently because I don't want to go through the process of setting my phone back up.
