Notification based on sender's email address?

Is there an app that allows you to assign a custom notification sound to a specific email address? (i.e. 1 sound for the boss's email address and another for a friend's address)

I would love to tell you that there is, but I have not been able to find anything. I would of initially told you to look at missed call, but they still do not have a plug in set up that recognizes email, but will recognize everything else, including sms, Bluetooth, calls coming in and missed as well as calendar events. From what I understand, they are working on getting it working, but will not have it for quite some time as the developer is busy

I agree, it would be very nice to be able to assign notification sounds / LED colors for received email based on gmail labels / accounts.

I too was going to say "missed call" but that app still doesn't support email.
