notification bar. small text

in ICS the notication bar at the top is much smaller than gingerbread. I have a 1% battery meter on it as well as the handcent notificaiton there. They are now so small you can barely make them out. Any way to enlarge it, i have not seen anything in the settings or on google or in this forum.

I sure agree, I miss the notification button that was on gingerbread. Now with ICS you have to try and grab that tiny thin black bar and open it up to see what is on the notification bar. Enhancement? Hah!

Lots of threads complaining about this change. There appears to be no solution other than an update of ICS changing the sizing or color scheme to make it legible.

Add me to the list of requesting that the notification bar icons be bigger.
