My Verizon Note 3 unrooted was updated to 4.4.4 and I have noticed a drastic reduction in my battery life. My wife's Note 3 also has been updated to 4.4.4 and has the same reduction in battery life.

Are there any settings fixes that I need to accomplish?

Any advice? Any with similar problems and found solutions?

4.4.4 was a pretty significant update on this device. I would advise doing a factory data reset on both.
(Just make sure to back up your contacts to Google and save any media files like pictures, music, video etc to your external sd card or your PC.
Good luck & let us know how you make out.

Like cr6 mentioned if a factory restore doesn't settle the phone down your only choice is to roll back the phones using Odin, your previous firmware, and your PC.

I ended up rolling my international version back.

I had the same issue with my Note 3 purchased soon after release. I recall that it had a September build date (not sure on that) but that early batch doesn't play well with the update. The Verizon tech knew of the issue when I took it up to the store and they replaced it under warranty. No problem with the CLNR.

GOOD LUCK

+1. I would try the factory rest.
