Note 2 lock screen blotches on left side

Hi I have a note 2 and I noticed on my lock screen with a black wallpaper selected it has light blotches on left side of screen when I have it on home screen its gone any one else have problem can't really tell in screen shots thanks

I do not (as of now) have those lighter spots on my note 2. How long have you had it for?

I use black as my wallpaper and do not have those blotches. Actually, I use an app called No Wallpaper by Mihai Preda. Once it's installed you simply select "No Wallpaper" as your wallpaper. You might install it to see if you still have the blotches. That will at least help to show whether the issue is with the wallpaper or the screen.

Ever since I got my phone update* I turned off ripple effect on the lock screen it went away so it has to do with the ripple effect

That's crazy, good thing it's fixed though.

I do actually notice it on my swipe unlock options, good thread!
