Not sure what is going on after update

I backed up with titanium, did sbf, updated, activated phone, rooted via z4root, restored apps. Seemed to be going good.
Installed bootstrap and rebooted-now all my screens reverted back to where they were before sbf, all my text messages came back and I have an icon next to the 3g icon that looks like the backup assistant is running???

Did our have to do with some data backup of some sort? That's weird.

After I installed the bootstrap I clicked on"reboot recovery" it then rebooted and that's when everything went back.

Should I wipe it and delete my old backups I have on my sd card?

Did you back up when you updated your phone? If not then it would revert back to the older version

I am guessing that is what happened. All the data I restored is finally finishing installing and with the reboot it reset my home pages.

Still doesn't explain what the sync icon next to the 3g is doing... I ran backup assistant and the icon comes up more to the left....
