We have three android platform phones, droid razor max, galaxy s3, & droid razor m. When you plug any of them into either of our computers, both on windows 7 they are not recognized. It is like they are not plugged in except for the fact that it is charging. Cannot open to access files.

You may have to enable USB Debugging. That option will be in the Settings app at the bottom. If it's not there you'll have to go to About Phone, in the Settings app, scroll to the bottom & repeatedly tap "Build Number". You'll be notified when the Developer Options are enabled. Then back out of About Phone & you'll be able to see the Developer Options

Ok. So two different manufactures... Did you install either if the drivers from these devices when it pops up and asked you to install the software for the device??
