Not receiving texts from one person

I'm not receiving any texts from a friend of mine. We were just chatting and realized we haven't been responding to each other because I'm not getting her texts! Has this happened to anyone else? We both have Verizon. Any advice appreciated!

Sometimes it's a network issue. Might want to bring it up to Verizon.
