Not getting email attachments

Anyone know a reason why I am not getting email attachments on my Droid X. I am forwarding an email from one of my gmail accounts to another and getting an error message that says "cannot open file". I also forwarded the same email to my comcast account and it opened in outlook but not on the droid. Is there a setting anywhere that controls attachments? I couldn't find any.

Beverly, I just ran across this post of yours from almost a month ago. I assume you have solved this issue by now? If not, what email app are you using?
