Not enough room in storage....

I'm trying to download a 1.6GB file on my phone. I directed the file to be DL on the
/sd card/ext_sd.
Isn't this the phone sd card? For some reason it keeps telling me that theres not enough room to fully dl this file in storage. I checked my memory card and out of 16GB I still have 12.85GB.

No, it's your external SD card, the removable Micro SD card.
