Not all texts are sending/cant receive

Within the last 2 weeks or so, i have come to realize that not all of my texts are getting to their destination and i am not receiving all the texts people send me. It's quite annoying because it just is. Ya know i wait for people to text me or they wait for me while i had already sent it and they didnt receive them or i did receive theirs. Any help with this? I have a feeling it could be the network, because i dont think it would make sense for it to be my actual phone.....unless it is
