Noob wants to know if I have to reactivate my phone after custom rom.

Hey guys this may be a stupid question but will I have to reactivate my phone on Verizon after a custom rom install?
What is a good Rom to use with verizon wireless

I rooted my Droid x2, 2.3.4, then flashed aokp and just now noticed that My phone number is (000)000-1377, everything works except for the performance setting in ROM control. I've tried activating; *228 but it just hangs for a moment and hangs up. I use VioP+Gvoice to do all my texting and calling,.......should I be worried?
