Non-gmail POP3 account not deleting emails from server...

As someone who gets hundreds of emails per day, I need the functionality of emails being deleted from the server when deleted from the phone. Windows-based phones and BlackBerry phones were good at this.

Is Droid X not capable of doing so?

I've even gone into the email trash folder and emptied it, still with no results.

Hoping someone has the magical answer...

I have noticed these problems w/ the email client also. Sending issues and not deleting off the server. I came from the original droid and didn't have these issues. I just tried K9 Email from the Market and it worked great. So much customization, it's great. It works great w/ a company Imap account that I have.

I'm having the same troubles with IMAP not deleting emails from the server. Never had this trouble with my POS iPhone. I'll try k9.
