no vibration alerts for text messages / e-mails

the phone does not vibrate when i receive a text / e-mail.

i checked the setting and i believe they are correct.

need advice please.

If your settings are right and it still isn't working I'd try Ringo from the market. Great app with awesome settings! Good luck!
