No silent mode after froyo?

Went to turn my phone down to silent as I do everynight and the lowest setting now is vibrate it use to go 1 past which would silent the phone..

can + string on 2.1

I use SilentMode On/Off and it's still able to silence the ringer. It's in the market and is a 1x1 widget.

You are right MWSR
There used to be seven ringer levels, then vibrate, then silent. Now there is no silent mode. You have to use settings menu to get to the silent mode now.

Hold your power button like you are turning it off. Silent Mode selection is there, as is Airplane Mode.

The silent mode in that setting is vibrate also judging from the icon. I didn't get a chance to try it yet

i downloaded "Slient Toggle Widget" it puts a widget on your sreen that allows you to quickly toggle between ring, vibrate and silent mode. works well enough for me.
