No Rom...

So I went to update back to a default rom..go into recovery, wipe data and cache, then wam. there wasn't an update.zip on my sd card ( I mistook my rooting folder as my sd card folder) so now when I boot I just get the android logo screen and an endless force close..my only thought to fix it was I need a micro sd card reader, which I can get..but not until tomorrow.

So my question is - is that my only fix?

oh - and i learned my lesson. backup.

edit 2 - i managed to mount through clockwork and then when i go to apply i get this -

"welcome to sapphire-0.8.4-droid!
assert failed: !less_than_int(1277333704, getpro
p("ro.build.date.utc"))
E:Error in /sdcard/update.zip
(status 7)
Installation aborted. "

final edit - even though no one posted, I got everything figured out. sorry for the thread!
