According to Gizmodo:
"The internal storage limit on applications will be going away soon with an upgrade Google mentioned."
Am I interpreting this right? This means we won't be limited to the 256mb of internal memory to hold our applications (for MotoDroid users)?
Possible, at least most of us (I believe) think that you might still be limited to 256, however the apps might be able to install then run from your SD after initial install.

They (I can't find the link now after all of the reading I have done today) are saying that with 2.1 users will be able to store Apps on the SD card. There will be some level of auto encryption placed on those apps to help cut down on piracy.
You can already install from the SD card. And I would rather have my apps installed on the phone memory and NOT encrypted, running an encrypted app off of the SD card will raise the CPU usage (do to the encryption) and have VERY slow read/write rates (nature of SD cards are slow data rates)
