No "DROID" sound on bootup

I just got the Droid Inc 2 and no my surprise and disappointment, when I booted up, there was no "DROID" sound to greet me. Is there a setting I have overlooked in getting this to happen?

Not that I'm aware of. I don't hear one either, and I'm admittedly not complaining either.
