I just realized that my charging light - when the phone is off and on the charger - is no longer working. Anyone else having that?

I didn't know my phone could do that. I do miss that feature on the d1.

Yeah, SallyC, I didn't ever remember the charging light as you mention. My light has never been on solid from my recollection, for any reason. It flashes different colors, but never solid on any one color.

When yours used to come on while charging, what color was it, and was it solid or flashing? Did it change from one color or state while charging to another when fully charged?

I did miss the lights on the D1 and D2 to confirm the plug was in and successfully connected. An added layer of security in my opinion.

yeah my charging light doesn't work anymore either, I believe there is another thread indicating the loss.
While charging, it would go thru red, orange then green when charged.

Sent from my DROID RAZR using DroidForums

As Nyteravyn said, mine would go through colors depending on how depleted the battery was. I didn't usually let it get so low it was anything but what seemed white (although it may have been orange) and then when it was around 90% it would switch to green. I never paid that much attention to it, but I know it did it. It was a solid color, not flashing like the notifications.

Someone mentioned it in another forum and at first I thought, "Oh, mine shows the charge light still" But then when I checked, it didn't! I'm thinking it was the update because I know I saw it recently and the OTA is the only thing I've installed recently.
