No 1x or 3g icon

Sometimes when i look at my status there is no 1x or 3g icon just the bars?????

I have that happen occasionally and I just go in and out of airplane mode. Usually works.

yea ive tried that a couple different times and i still have the same problem

I usually have that happen when the phone is in Night Mode, because its set on a profile that does not sync data to save battery. Perhaps you need to tweek the battery management a bit. If all else fails, just shut off the phone.....leave off for a minute and restart it.

If WiFi is enabled, there will be no 3G or 1x dispayed.
