I have to say I agree with this piece a lot. After the Note 2 was loaded with touchwiz and had a weak radio I found myself basically hating all things Samsung. I scoffed at anyone who tried to convince me that touchwiz was better.
Yet here I am choosing the Note 5 over the Nexus 6P and I could not be any happier with my decision. Dont get me wrong the Nexus 6p was a nice device and the fingerprint reader was much better. But I found myself loving the Note 5 for the entire package; beautifully designed, cleaner software, and toned down on the Samsung bloat by a lot. Is it a phone for the person who want complete freedom, probably not, but this is a grown up device for the grown up who wants a device that checks all the blocks and perform well in basically every category (except drop tests so get a case). Oh and if you were looking for a small device well this may just fit in that category as well as it is about the same width as the nexus 5 and a little bit taller.
