Nexus one 2.2 music player for droid

A couple months back google showcased Froyo on the nexus one. It had this gallery looking music player. I was really looking forward to this on my droid, and was sad when moto didnt include it in the 2.2 update. Is there a way that i can get the apk so i can get this music player on my droid?

How is it possible for the droid to get gingerbread. It supposedly will require a 1Ghz processor
