Google's new Nexus 7 is available throughout more parts of Europe. You can now grab the tablet in Germany, Spain and France. The 8GB model sells for €199 (which converts to about $248 in US dollars), and the 16GB model sells for €249 (about $311). These are premium prices, but are actually fairly typical of international comparison shopping.
There is one other downside for folks in these three countries besides the slightly higher price. As of right now, even though Google's Play Movies and Play Books are available for all three countries, the Play Magazines and Play Music are not yet. We are confident that once all the relevant technical and legal hurles are surmounted, that should change soon enough.
