Well here's a is quote pulled off OD Android central for 2.1 and the update

""The Android 2.1 upgrade for the Droid by Motorola was deployed to a small number of Verizon Wireless test users as scheduled. It is expected the broader phased rollout to all Droid by Motorola users will take place, but not just yet. No date scheduled yet.""

Looks like the delay may be more than a bandwidth issue to me :mad:. Go ahead and vent. Tell us your thoughts on yet another 2.1 delay for the Droid!

Haven't cared about it for 2 months or since I rooted. Now I'm rolling with BD 7.8. Oc 800. Better than the lame 2.1 update scheduled to never come out.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NOT ANOTHER F****N DELAY!! AAAHHHHHH:icon_ devil::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:AAAHHH Whatever will we DO!!!!!???..oh wait..I'm rooted ...NVM

Dont really care about the official 2.1 anymore.

A) My phone has been running 2.1 for the past two weeks with everything I want on it.

B) Getting a Nexus One when it comes to Verizon soon.

(YAWN) We've waited this long, what's a few more hours / days / weeks / months? Not a thing we can do about it.

Well, to be fair, Verizon never announced it.

Somebody leaked internal docs showing release date.

i just dont get why...this is like being so sketch.. this so process... all this leak information... some say real information... delays... etc etc. ALLL LAMMMMMMMMMMMEEEEE

good thing i got 2.1 and all that i need for now :-) ROOOOOOOOT save yourself all this delay time

Alright guys, I can't hold in this information any longer....
The real reason for the delay is because of the Droids flux capacitor. The device is the core component of the time machine, which was supposed to be the secret of the 2.1 update. The flux capacitor requires 1.21 gigawatts of electricty to operate, and Motorola is having a hard time with this. Sorry to bring the bad news to the forum.

I am officially going to the bar.....happy hour!
