News and weather widget doesn't refresh

Hello,
My News and Weather widget doesn't auto-refresh and hasn't for a while. I'm currently running Liberty 1.5, but it happened on Liberty 1.0 and Apex. The auto-sync option (or whatever its called) on the Power Control widget is on and has been toggled. Does this happen to anyone else? Should I sbf? Is there an easier way?

Also, just so its clear.. auto-refresh is on in the widget itself. Its set to 1 hour. I don't have a task killer.

I've been having the same problem for a few weeks. No custom ROM either (rooted though)

Same problem here using gpa15
