For years I have shouted in frustration at my computer screen searching for my version of cyanogenmod on thier download site. If you just don't know the codename of your phone then you are out of luck when it comes to downloading files. You can search for the codename on google but that does not always give you the results you are looking for and you might end up grabbing and flashing the wrong file which could be dangerous.
The CyanogeMod team has finally decided to revamp the download page. They have included the retail names now so it is much easier to find the proper files. They have also started to provide downloads of custom recoveries. These changes will certainly save you hours of frustration.
