So, Just joined, yay!

I've had my Moto Droid about 6 months now and I just got the Froyo OTA update last night.

Though the new little things are nice, I can't use Launcher Pro anymore and I blew through an entire battery in about 8 hours. I hear a lot of people have a battery problem with the 2.2 OTA on the MotoDroid and I'm sure they'll have fixes.... eventually.

But I'm impatient!

So, does anyone know if there are problems with rooting a droid after the OTA 2.2? Or would I just follow the "SBF to root and to unroot' tutorial?
