Newbie trying to learn!

Hi my Twitter name is TieFightinDroid. I'm emerging into the Android world. I've had a Droid 2 but decided to move to the DX. I love the entire concept of unlockable device. I would like to start developing for Android. I want to make applications then start moving to ROMs one day. But I need someone who is experienced and willing to teach me or at least point me in the right direction. Much thanks!

first off you need to learn JAVA and learn it well even though its becoming a very obsolete language IMO.
