I am selling my Droid 2 on ebay and need to be sure the ESN is clean...I have already returned it to factory settings...is that the same thing?

If NOT, I would greatly appreciate instructions on getting a 'clean ESN'...thank you!

Nope. Clean ESN just means it isn't blacklisted so it can be used with the carrier.

As long has your phone hasn't been reported stolen, then you should have a clean ESN. Factory resetting it just removes all your internal data from your phone.
