Newbie here and apex 1.4. keeps force crashing

I have some of the old liberty tool boxe and settingon my rooted phone. i have the first version apex but it keeps force rebooting. its set manually at 12 vsel and at 1325mhz/300. its driving me crazy..... my friend gets it going but it has a tempermental B@#& issue that needs fixed help
