newb: android 2.3.3 latest for droidX?

Hello forum,
I am new to the community and wondering if the Android 2.3.3 OS is the latest and or best OS for my DROIDX.
I don't do any heavy lifting with it, just basic usage.

2.3.3 is the latest official update for the Droid X. As far as the best that is an opinion question, some people like it some do not. Personally I liked 2.3.3 on my DX and I ran it for quite a while.
