alright well i got the Droid 2 Global for christmas and I need help with battery life

it sucks...i end up turning off data and force closing everything to save battery and it barely lasts...also ive downloaded atk already and changed my refresh settings and display settings

also have tried many launchers and would like to get some cool setup ideas...i like red/black themes/icons/docks etc.

welcome to the forum! whether u rooted or not there are ways to help battery life. I for one use juice defender. u have to customize jot to ur needs. if ur using task killers, get rid of it! u don't need it. only drains ur battery more although some may diff in opinions. I will give u a link to it. if ur rooted u can still use JD but also use Droid overclock by Jrummy in the market. u can save battery life by "underclocking" it with low voltage. I will send another link to it.
