I just did a system update on my razor and I cannot use titanium backup it says I'm not rooted. I have safe strap install. Should I go back to recovery and install latest backup? Is there an easier way to get root access again?

You will most likely need to root again - there is a method for 2.3.6.... Let me find you a link.

It won't help this time, but after you re-root your phone, I suggest that you download Voodoo OTA Rootkeeper.

I downloaded the update today and use Voodoo. It immediately re-rooted my phone. Titanium Backup found a minor problem with the root, which it fixed (with the simple clock of a button and a reboot).
