New to site

Hello, my name is cynthia and I just bought a motorola droid 2 and had it flashed to metro. I absolutely love this phone. The reason I joined this site is because I am having a little issue with my phone. I dont have internet and cant send mms, I will search the site and see what I can find.

Did it work before you flashed it? When you say no internet do you mean wi-fi or 3g...oh and welcome to the forum

Thanks I'm not really electronically smart lol so bare with me. I can connect to wifi, no clue what the 3g is , I dont know if the internet was working before it was flashed. I had a friend of mine flash it.

:welcome: to the forum. Your phone should display a 3G or 1X icon at the top next to your battery icon when the wifi is off. Let us know how it goes.

Thanks , When I turn off the wifi there is not a 1x or 3g icon nevt to the battery icon.

If you dint have any 3G or 1X icons, try this. Hit menu then settings/wireless & networks/mobile networks. Make sure that data enable is checked. Also make sure its not in airplane mode.

Airplane mode is not on. When I go into settings then wireless and network settings then Mobile networks all it has in it is System Select to change the cdma roaming mode from automatic to home.

Do you have a data manager/data delivery? It may be there. With no data icons showing, it seems something may be turned off.
