New To my DroidX! Need help though!

Just got my x, retired my og droid. (Im still keeping it, love all the roms for it)
I don't consider myself a noob, but I need help prepareing my x for roms. I am already rooted (z4root), and have rom manager premium. But I have read I need bootstap, is this true?

Thanks in advance!

imo, absolutely. bootstrap allows you make full backups of your phone and install roms, flash themes, and return your phone to a previous condition, and more.

I think Bootstrap just installs the recovery on the phone, its there and ROM Manager that allows you to install ROMs, back ups and such. I installed recovery and never opened Bootstrap again.

Is there a free bootstrap app out there, or is the one I find in the market the only one?
