Hey there. I recently got my Droid. It's great. I only had dialup before. Love the speed and apps. Looking forward to learning more about it. Want to use it as a modem cuz I live in the boondocks and high-speed not available. See ya round .

Hey back,
I also recently got my Droid and live in the boondocks. What do you mean you can use it as a modum? We currently use Hughes Net Satillite with a router. But so far I cannot call out since we do not have a tower close by with Verizon. No cell phones work here. But I do get the internet through the droid. I appreciate your help and response. Thank you.

Hey Nana
Can't say I can help much bn a noob but from reading through some of the forums you can tether your phone to your computer and use it as a modem. Verizon want's to charge another $30 and limit you to 5GB amonth to tether to your PC. Just try'n to work around. Still have alot to figure out myself .
