New Razr Maxx HD on 4.0.4, should I leave it or upgrade to JB?

My new RAZR MAXX HD came loaded with 4.0.4 but an update to 4.1.1 is pending and comes up every time I power up the phone. Given the choice would you leave it at 4.0.4 or upgrade and why? Also if I leave it is there anyway to stop the notification to upgrade? TIA

Jelly bean is what it would upgrade to. In my opinion jb is typically smoother than ics(what you have now) however I'm not up to date on any problems and issues with the update....

Also, unless you root, I believe that the device WILL eventually take the update.
