New phone - nothing but black & white lines all over the screen

I got my new droid 2 today. It worked for about an hour and then all these black and white lines appeared on the screen. I took the battery out and then turned it back on. Still lines. Has this happened to anyone else?

Also, when it was working, 2 people sent me picture messages but when I went to open the messages, nothing was there. Surely this phone can get picture message??? How do you open them? Thanks

I have never seen anything like that before I suggest you take it into Verizon store and have them send you a new one.

Yeah, that is first on my list tomorrow. Just a little worried that it only worked for an hour.

btw is there some trick to viewing picture messages? I tried to open them but nothing happened.

In test messaging I prefer handcent over the stock messaging app unless im doing a quick response.

Wow that sucks good luck getting a replacement. As for picture messages the pic should just show up in the conversations list. If there was an issue receiving then you should see a button that says download.

One of the messages did say download. I clicked it and it either did nothing or it said something about the message had expired. I had only received it less than 1/2 hr ago.
