New On-Screen Keypad SUCKS!

Apparently overnight last night my Razr Maxx installed some updates, one of them being a new keypad layout. This new layout SUCKS!!!!!

I want my old keypad layout back! NOW! :angry:

What app? That's why I always manually update. Are you rooted with a titanium backup by any chance?

Not rooted at all, standard install. I first noticed it in Handcent, but appears to be used for anything that I need a keyboard for.... :angry:

FIXED IT! Found the issue..... was an app called Swype. I've disabled it (not sure where it came from or how it got enabled) and I now have the original keyboard display back. Much better now!

Motorola devices come installed with Swype. I'm not a fan of Swype either but it's probably the most popular 3rd party keyboard app. So it makes sense that they install it.

I would recommend Thumb keyboard. I used it on my Droid X b4 i got the Maxx. I thought it was a well layed out setup.
