New miui virtual keyboard

i really like this keyboard, and i tried pulling it from system/app and tried to get it to work on a different rom (cyanogen 6.1 rc3) but it says failed to install, or it just doesnt even give me a virtual keyboard to use (besides swype). does anyone know how to get it working on another rom? or is this not even possible?

I dont see any difference between this keyboard and the old stock android... what is all the rage about this one? yea the color is a bit darker, but otherwise whats so different?

it really isnt that much change, but its kind of a refreshment on the stock one, i just thought it be nice to have it, but its not a necessity in any way. just curious if it was possible and how one would go about getting it to work if it was

Get Smart Keyboard Pro in the market. Tons of skins and performs better than stock in my experience.
