Hello all, I've been lurking for about a month and I finally joined. I've had my droid for a month and I'm loving every bit of it. I used to use an iPhone but it broke and I decided to get a Droid. For a while now I've been looking to root my droid but I'm concerned if it would void any warranty or be against Verizon or Google's ToS, if anyone could tell me I would appreciate it.

Welcome to the forum, Shadowsniper789! We're glad that you've decided to quit lurking and join in the fun!

Yes, rooting does void your warranty but it's a fairly straightforward process to unroot and go back to stock, too.

:welcome:
